BB wanted its culture website in record time. We did it.
Banco do Brasil brought us a great challenge: plan, project and publish their cultural site in one month. 30 days later the website was online.
My Role
In addition to idealizing the entire navigation structure and interface interactions in its most diverse formats, I also coordinated the entire creative team involved in the project, such as visual designers, UX Writers and, of course, front-end developers.
Deliverables
- wireframes
- user journeys
- personas
- user testing
- technical team management
UX Strategy
Because of the pandemic context of 2020-21, BB’s museums couldn’t receive visits anymore. At least not the way they used to do. Now the number of visitors was limited an the period at the museum restricted. For this reason, Banco do Brasil made great investments on digital content that should gain some relevance in this new wesbsite.
With that in mind, the main challenge of this project was to balance the presentation of the exhibitions of each one of the four museums of Banco do Brasil with its digital programming.
Findings & Experience
With a short deadline and a big problem to be solved, we decided to invest a good part of our effort on sketches and wireframes until we finally got into a solution to be tested with some users.
We’ve made 7 different structures for the portal. In these initial propositions we had ideas fluctuating from bold interactions to more conventional interfaces.
After some initial tests, 2 of them were chosen to be developed. And finally we got a definitive structured that could be done in such short notice but also would achieve the main goal of the project: promote not only the physical exhibittions, but also the digital ones.
Culture at Banco do Brasil is now digital ;)
